Hi there, Melissa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How excited are you to be going on a Disney Cruise Line vacation THIS MONTH!?!? Not just a Disney Cruise, but a
Halloween on the High Seas sailing! Between the fun Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party and the late-night parties, there is so much fun that awaits you onboard the Disney Dream! And…it will be here before you know it!
Disney Cruise Line encourages Guests to dress up for the themed nights such as Halloween celebrations and Pirate Night…although it is not a requirement to participate in the onboard activities. Guests are asked to use good judgement when choosing costumes and choose ones that are family friendly and not obstructive, objectionable, offensive or violent. There are no restrictions to face paint and a Guest can only wear a mask that completely covers one’s face when standing still at character photo locations and must be carried when moving around the ship. I often advise Guests to not bring masks since they cannot be worn full time, but they are not prohibited.
The schedule for the onboard Halloween activities will not be available until you are onboard, but on my recent three-night Disney Dream voyage, our Halloween festivities were on the same night as Pirate Night. The Halloween activities took place during the afternoon before the pirate-themed festivities got underway. It was a fun-filled day onboard! Be sure you have the
Navigator app downloaded to your smartphone, so you can have access to a full schedule of onboard events and activities; with so much to do, you won’t want to miss a thing!
Wishing you a spook-tacular adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
