Hey there, Aurora!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Celebrating a milestone anniversary at the Disneyland Resort sounds practically perfect in every way!
I love that you have already reserved a meal at the iconic
Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park. This is one of the most romantic and unique restaurants on property, so it is absolutely a wonderful choice for an anniversary celebration. I’m happy to let you know that you may order a custom Celebration Cake to be delivered to any Table Service reservation, including Blue Bayou Restaurant, by calling (714) 781-3463. Just make sure you call at least three days prior to your reservation to reserve your cake. There is an array of custom decorations and flavors to choose from. Recently we ordered a churro-flavored cake adorned with Haunted Mansion decorations. It was one of the most beautiful and tasty cakes I have ever had in my life. It also made great leftovers for breakfast the next day before heading back to the parks!
Another wonderful romantic activity would be a visit to the Carthay Circle or Napa Rouse Lounge for some drinks and appetizers. I love that you don’t need a reservation to enjoy these fantastic, intimate spaces. You can even reserve a couples spa treatment at the Mandara Spa located in the nearby Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for a really indulgent treat. A truly unique way to take home a piece of the magic during your trip would be to get a couples hand-cut silhouette at the Silhouette Studio on Main Street, U.S.A. You can walk right up and get this done without reserving a time slot. It’s my very favorite souvenir from the parks!
I hope this gives you some ideas on how to celebrate in true Disney fashion. I wish you both a happily ever after!
