Are there any special programs for Senior Citizens at Disney World?

    Welcome back JoAnn!

One of the things I love most about Walt Disney World is that it is perfect for kids of all ages.  I've polled my friends on the Moms Panel and they've given me a list of activities that the senior citizens in their lives enjoy most at Walt Disney World:

    1.  There are shows and parades in each of the four theme parks that delight everyone in their travel party.  You can find the locations and times for these events on the Times and Information Guides

    2.  Consider taking a behind-the-scenes tour reserved for guests 16 and older.  Personally, I can't wait to take Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour next summer.  These experiences can be booked by calling (407) WDW-TOUR.

    3.  Enjoy the seasonal festivities in Epcot's World Showcase.  It's incredible fun to explore cuisine from around the world during Epcot's Food & Wine festival in autumn.  And there's no more beautiful time to explore this theme park than during the annual Flower & Garden festival held every spring.

    4.  Explore a new restaurant or two on your next trip.  Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion and La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion of Epcot are brand new establishments to try.

    5.  Shop at Downtown Disney!  This area of the Walt Disney World resort continues to evolve and there's always something new for shoppers of all ages to explore.

Whatever you decide to do on your next trip, be sure to take your time and explore the parks at your own pace.  Have a wonderful time making new memories at Walt Disney World!
