Hey there, Courtney, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
First and foremost, it sounds like congratulations are in order! Whether this is your first or you're already a seasoned pro, you're in good company when it comes to Disney moms. From Mrs. Incredible and Mrs. Jumbo to Kala and Queen Elinor, Disney moms are a special kind of fierce. Just like you, they're up for anything and ready to make some magic! Courtney, your trip to Walt Disney World is just around the corner, so let's get you ready to take on the "world!"
While Disney World doesn't offer any particular accommodations for pregnancy, I do have some ideas to make your visit a bit easier! One important thing to know is that all four theme parks offer a
Baby Care Center. These facilities are air-conditioned and stocked with amenities that families with young kids might need. Now, despite the name, Baby Care Centers aren't just for babies - they're also available to pregnant guests! Baby Care Centers are a great place to sit down, put your feet up, and cool off in the heat.
Now, there are a number of
attractions at Disney World with an Expectant Mother Advisory. However, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the magic! There are SO many amazing rides that should be gentle enough for pregnant guests (check with your doctor to be sure!), so you'll still have plenty of options. Of course, waiting in lines while pregnant could be a little bit tricky (swollen feet, nausea, or bladder issues, anyone?). To make it easier on yourself, I strongly suggest using
Lightning Lanes to expedite those wait times.
Courtney, July can really bring the heat in Disney World, so be sure to take breaks and stay hydrated during your visit. And if you're in the mood for a little extra pampering, treat yourself to a prenatal massage at The
Grand Floridian Spa!
I hope this information helps, and that your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is sprinkled with extra pixie dust! If you have any other planning questions as you finalize your plans, planDisney is always here to help!
See ya real soon,
Allison
