Hi there, Glenn! I was very excited to find out after my first sailing on Disney Cruise Line, that I had earned Silver Castaway Club status. My husband rolled his eyes when I told him we only have nine more cruises to go before we're Platinum status!
As frequent visitors to Walt Disney World Resort, we don't directly receive special perks per se, but I can think of several benefits off the top of my head. First of all, if you plan on visiting more than once a year, consider purchasing an
Annual Pass. Once you become a Passholder, you're entitled to all sorts of
Special Offers and discounts, from Resort Hotels, to dining, and merchandise. Being an Annual Passholder also allows me to purchase a membership to
Tables in Wonderland which gives me a 20% discount on food and beverage, including alcohol, at over 100 participating restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort- the savings can really add up even after one trip, especially if you enjoy dining at Signature Restaurants.
Something else to think about is becoming a
Disney Chase Visa Cardmember. You'll earn Disney Rewards Dollars on everyday card purchases including gas and groceries. Then your Reward Dollars can be used toward purchases at most Disney locations, including Theme Park tickets, hotel stays and more. During our last trip, I used Rewards Dollars to pay for all our meals, including dinner at California Grill.
Glenn, the most significant benefit I get from going multiple times, however, is being able to navigate the Parks like a pro. It's amazing how much more efficient and enjoyable our vacations have gotten over the years!
