Thanks for bringing a great question to planDisney, Jennifer! The Walt Disney World Resort does everything that they can to ensure that all Guests have a magical vacation! Sometimes that includes making accommodations for Guests in need of special services. I'll explain how to secure those services, as well as answer your question about possible discounts.
At times throughout the year, there are various discounts and special offers made available to all Guests! If you visit the
Walt Disney World Resort website, you will find a listing of all available discounts. When you arrive at the website, hover (don't click) your mouse over the heading that states, "Places to Stay." When you do so, a dropdown menu will appear. Click on the heading that states,
"View Special Offers." Once you do that, a complete listing of all available discounts will appear. Take your time to review them to see which offer best fits your travel needs! The special offers change every few weeks, as well as seasonally, so be sure to check this page frequently! As an extra tip, if you book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package and then find that a special offer is made for a time during your planned travel time, you can always check to see if the special offer can be applied to your existing vacation package!
Children with disabilities, including Autism, will have a great vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! Some individuals with disabilities may qualify for a
Disabilities Access Services (DAS) pass. If you believe a member of your party might qualify, please report to
Guest Relations when you arrive at the park you are visiting. They will meet with you individually to determine if a member of your group meets the qualifications for a DAS pass or other accommodations. A DAS pass cannot be arranged prior to a visit. The service will be provided, in-person, upon your arrival to the park you are visiting.
Jennifer, I hope this information is helpful with your planning! Please visit planDisney with any additional questions that you might have! We're always happy to help!
