Hello there, Margaret,
To improve the safety and well-being of guests and to ease congestion, the Disney Parks
announced updates to the
Disneyland Resort Park Rules earlier this year. This included eliminating in-park
smoking areas and park policy changes related to
stroller size, stroller wagons, and
more. I’ve had a chance to correspond with Disney Parks Cast Members involved in making and implementing these changes. I learned that these updates are done with great care, research, and deliberation. Such changes are always done with an eye toward improving the overall guest experience as much as possible. I’m personally very impressed with how hard the Disneyland Resort Cast Members work to keep making it the Happiest Place on Earth.
Even with the latest rules changes, the approach to making
accommodations for guests with disabilities at Disney Parks remains the same. Meeting the needs of these guests is extremely important to Disney. As a parent of two children with Autism myself, I am very grateful for the compassion, understanding, and accommodations offered by Disneyland Resort Cast Members. Guests with disabilities or their family members who have questions or concerns about any of the updates to the park rules may
email or
call Disney Parks Disability Services.
I hope you have a magical time as you continue to visit the Disneyland Resort. See ya real soon, Margaret!
