Greetings, Jose! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. Just a few more days until you arrive at the Happiest Place on Earth. Oh boy!
Thank you for preparing in advance for your visit – it is good to familiarize yourself with the latest
experience updates and guidelines, as they can change quickly. Although the State of California strongly recommends full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test prior to visiting the
Disneyland Resort, it is currently not required. Facial coverings are required indoors for Guests ages 2 and older. During our recent visit, I was impressed by the safety measures being taken by Disneyland Resort, keeping the health and wellness of everyone in mind. I hope you too will have a safe experience with your son.
Jose, have you heard about the
Disability Access Service (DAS) offering, to support Guests challenged with waiting in queues for attractions? DAS allows you to schedule return times, either in person or through the
Disneyland mobile app. Through the new
DAS Advance feature, you can also schedule up to two attractions per day of your visit, prior to your arrival. As you are now within 30 days of your visit, you could
request a live video chat with a Cast Member to inquire about eligibility. Your son would need to be present in the video chat with you. I have many friends who have used DAS, and it is one of the million reasons I love the Disneyland Resort – they are 100 percent committed to creating an inclusive, magical experience for all!
The treasure box of memories I have with my kids at Disneyland Resort fill my heart with joy. I wish you the most magical and memorable visit with your son, Jose. Please come back and see us if you have more questions, you've got a friend in me!
