I am a special needs foster parent and am planning a vacation to WDW for our adopted 8 year old. If I have another child here and purchase a ticket early and that child is moved and cant go, can another person or child use this ticket. Is name on it?

    Hi Pamela!

The world needs more people like you!!!  Your 8 year old is going to have such a fabulous vacation, as will any other child that you so generously bring.  Are you planning on staying at a Disney resort?  If so, the current child's name will be on the package.  However, it is not a problem at all to change a child's name on the reservation.  The ticket will not be "attached" to a guest until it is activated at the parks.  The only time that changing a name becomes an issue is if it is the lead guest on the resort reservation, or if the ticket has already been activated.  Also, if your current foster child's park ticket is for someone 10 or under, than the new child must be within that age group as well.  Otherwise, they would require an adult ticket.

In fact, if you have a package, you can even drop a person from the reservation entirely.  If this is done within 45 days of travel, a fee will be charged.  Otherwise, you won't be penalized.  Enjoy every second of your vacation with your children!
