We have a special needs child - she is autistic. We have had wonderful experiences at WDW with her and most staff are helpful and accommodating regarding her sensory issues. She loves the water so we are thinking about a WDW cruise experience. Suggestions?

    Ahoy Jennifer!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  It's wonderful to hear you have had some magical experiences at Walt Disney World with your princess!  If she loves water, I definitely suggest your next vacation be on the high seas!  I'm not sure of your daughter's age, but the kids' clubs onboard are fabulous, and they do their best to accommodate children with special needs.  They can't provide one-on-one supervision, but they can recommend activities & events that will work best with your daughter's sensory issues.  There is lots of splashtacular fun on the pool deck that will keep your family very busy throughout your sailing as well as exciting water-related Port Adventures in the beautiful ports of call.
If you haven't already, please request the free planning DVD on www.disneycruise.com and also check out the videos on the site too.  They are very helpful and informative during the planning process.  As you continue to have questions, please feel free to visit me again so I can continue to assist you!  I'm always happy to help.
Have a magical day and happy planning!
