Welcome back to planDisney, friend!
I always like to tell people that Walt Disney World Resort isn’t just - “The Most Magical Place on Earth” - I also like to refer to it as one of - “The Most Accommodating Places on Earth” - because it really is. I’ve had the privilege of traveling many times to Walt Disney World with my niece who has cerebral palsy. She rocks a hot pink wheelchair, and she’s one of my greatest pals. We always have a blast on vacation, and Walt Disney World Resort makes it easy and fun for EVERYONE in my party.
Children with disabilities and special needs are the priority in the eyes of Mickey and Minnie, and I want to make sure you get all of the information you’ll need to have a successful and blissful adventure. To see what Walt Disney World can do for the specific needs of your child, visit the “
Services for Guests with Disabilities” page. There’s a wide variety of resources for a wide range of disabilities, and it will give you specifics on what accommodations are available for you and your child.
You’ll also want to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, as
Disney Genie will be coming out of the
lamp soon! This service will have some updated features for
Disability Access Service that I am SO excited to use! I’d also recommend visiting a Cast Member at
Guest Relations upon arrival at any of the theme parks to receive additional information, resources, and guidance for your visit.
I’m sending all of the happy thoughts and pixie dust to you, Tammi! If you have any more questions, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney.
Have a
great big beautiful tomorrow! Allyn
