Do you have any special group rates. I'm planning a family trip for 30 people and want to know what the rates would be?

    Hi Jeannette!

Thank you for bringing a question to planDisney! I am so excited to hEAR that you are planning a trip with such a large group. Having planned for large groups in the past, I know how much fun it can be and how much patience you will need!

If you will need 10 rooms or more, I suggest that you contact our team with Disney Group Getaways. Just take a few minutes to complete this form and someone will contact you. To complete the form, you will need to know your travel dates and resort hotel preferences.

Although I have not taken groups to the Disneyland Resort, I have taken groups to the Walt Disney World Resort. Once we picked our resort hotel, my next challenge included dining options. So, keep that in mind as you make your plans. We elected to have just one meal together with the whole group and then we let everyone make their own dining choices for the remainder of our time.

When I planned our last group trip, I loved having a specific Disney contact that helped me with our plans. On my end, I created the rooming lists and communicated details to the group. I would also suggest that you select a few other group leaders who can assist with the planning decisions and communication.

Once you have a resort hotel and theme park tickets booked and have dining plans, the next important challenge remains - matching shirts! We always take a look at our options on shopDisney and then plan accordingly. I also highly recommend keeping an eye on the operational updates prior to your trip since policies and procedures could change.

Pay close attention to the theme park reservation availability system and make sure your group has theme park reservations if they are required at the time of your visit. Since it seems you are the group leader, I also suggest that you make sure everyone is familiar with the Disneyland Mobile App. When I am trying to manage a group with folks scattered in different locations, I always do one or two online group meetings to talk people through the plans. I do one meeting towards the beginning of the planning process and one closer to the trip dates.

Jeannette, I sense that the planning Force is strong with you. Gather your intergalactic crew and get ready!

    Magic and memories,
