    Are there any special events planned for mothers day this year at Walt Disney World to celebrate Moms special day? I seem to remember in past years a DVC brunch and some special cupcakes and other treats at some of the stores on main street.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A couple of years ago I spent Mother's Day with my mom at Walt Disney World Resort and it was lovely. We both love Disney, so I can't think of a better place to spend the day together.

    Last year there were several special Mother's Day events throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I'd assume many of the parks and restaurants will have similar offerings this year, but we'll need to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to know for sure. Hopefully, they announce something soon, but in the past it's been much closer to the actual date. 

    I do know that Disney Springs is planning some great shopping and dinning experiences for Mother's Day Weekend. Details should be released soon, but anticipate some great discounts as well as fun activities to do together.
