Are there any special events planned at Disney for the Super Bowl this year?

Set...hut! Go long, Stephanie! This answer from the Disney Parks Moms Panel is coming your way, and I hope we don't have a flag on the play!

I've scoured the Walt Disney World playbook, and I can't find any special events on tap for the Big Game. But don't worry, Stephanie. We'll call an audible and come up with our own play for your family to score some Super-sized fun.

Did you know there's a football field at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort? What a fun way to kick off your Super day! Fuel up in the Endzone Food Court, then snag a football at Sport Goofy Gifts & Sundries and head out to the field in the Touchdown! section of the Resort to play. You can take Disney bus transportation here from any Theme Park, or pop over in a Minnie Van.

Come kick-off, you have lots of options to catch the game. The Resort hotel lounges will certainly be showing the game - Disney Dad Jason recommends the Rix Sports Bar and Grill at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for a prime game-watching experience. Plus, the bars and restaurants at Disney Springs are always hopping on gameday. Shop for some fan gear, then find yourself a spot to chEAR on the team!

There may still be a last-minute Hail Mary from the Disney Parks Blog with more info, so be sure to check back with them in the next couple of days.

I hope this helps you plan a Super vacation, Stephanie. "Walt Disney World on three...ready? 1-2-3 - Walt Disney World!"

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
