Will there be any special events for the opening day of the Cars 2 movie on June 24, 2011? We will be ending our week vacation on that day and would like to see the movie or attend any Cars events before leaving.

Hi Kristin!

I don't know about you but the Cars 2 premiere is ranking right up there with Christmas on my boys list right now!! They just CAN'T wait!!! (and neither can I!!) As of now, I'm not aware of any special promotions or tie-ins planned for the parks at this time. You will be able to check out Cars 2 at the AMC 24 Pleasure Island Theatre Complex in Downtown Disney though! I'd buy my tickets early as well.

Oh...and just want to add...have you checked out what's being built at Disney's California Adventure? If you're anything like us, we'll be planning trip out there to see (according to my boys) 'the REAL Radiator Springs!!"
