    Is there any special events on Groundhog's Day?

    Hi Jamie!

    I am not aware of anything special going on at Walt Disney World for Groundhog's Day.  Disney World is full of surprises, so even though there has been no official announcement of a special event, that's not to say there won't be.  I do know that for the past few years, a special pin has been available for purchase on Groundhog's Day.  I have one from 2011.  You can check the Disney Parks Blog periodically for announcements and special events. 

    I am hoping he sees his shadow this year.  80 degrees in January is too hot for Florida!
