Hi, Heather! March is one of my two favorite months to visit Disney. Other than during the holiday season in November, March is a really great month to visit Disney!
One of the big highlights that typically happens during March is the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which typically kicks off in early March each year. For 2026, the dates haven’t been officially announced yet, but this event usually happens from early March into late May. This festival transforms
Epcot with spectacular topiaries of our favorite Disney characters, springtime floral displays, themed food booths, and unique live entertainment with the Garden Rock Concert Series.
Also, March will host cheer and dance competitions, and other sports-related events at some of the resorts, but mostly at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. While these don’t always require special tickets, they can impact crowds and hotel availability.
