Hi Christine,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing your question to us. My family absolutely loved spending Easter at Walt Disney World!
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, be sure to ask the Cast Members at the front desk about hotel activities on Easter Sunday. At our resort, we had a special meet and greet with a Disney character, and then we went through a buffet-style line of treats and filled up Easter bags.
Disney Floral and Gifts also offered super cute Disney-themed Easter baskets for delivery to your resort room.
Last year, Magic Kingdom Park featured a special Easter addition to the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, and there was also a sweet meet and greet with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. Easter religious services were offered in Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s convention area. Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa there was an absolutely jaw-dropping display of chocolate eggs designed by Disney’s talented pastry artists. While I haven't heard confirmation that these events will return this year, I'm hoping they will!
Returning this year is the
Easter Egg-stravaganza egg hunt around Epcot's World Showcase. My kids loved searching for the adorable, Disney-themed eggs hidden in each country’s pavilion!
Christine, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about Easter activities and special dining menus. These announcements usually come a few weeks before Easter, so hopefully you should have some news soon.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
Robyn
