Are there any special events or changes on Easter Sunday 2023?

Hi Sheri! Thanks for hopping by planDisney.

I've got some egg-cellent news about Easter celebrations at Disneyland Resort. Let's start with food news: I found two locations offering special Easter meals on April 9, 2023. Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel and Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa are both offering Easter brunch and dinner menus. These are Character Dining Experiences, so you can expect some of your favorite Disney Characters to be there too! Both menus sound delicious, but that Strawberry Rhubarb French Toast with Vanilla Mascarpone at Storytellers Cafe is calling my name! Dining Reservations for Easter are already open, and dining experiences are subject to availability. If they're booked, keep checking, since people's plans do change.

You can celebrate the season at Disneyland Resort by taking part in Eggstravaganza, a special event egg search. You pick up a map game board for purchase at participating merchandise locations, then your job is to hunt down all the hidden eggs you can find, marking them off on your board as you go. At redemption locations, you can turn in your board and receive a collectible egg. Purchasing limits apply, boards are subject to availability and price changes, and Guests receive one collectible egg per board.

One of the game boards is specific to Downtown Disney District, which doesn't require an admission ticket. Mickey's Kitchen and Storytellers Cafe are in Disneyland Resort Hotel locations, which also do not require an admission ticket. Therefore, you could celebrate Easter at Disneyland Resort with a delicious Character Dining Experience and fun special event activity, without purchasing a ticket.

There's no guarantee, but you might see some Disney bunny Characters in the parks around Easter, including the Easter bunny himself, and while the food guide for Easter hasn't been announced yet, I expect it will be soon! Check out Disney Eats for the foodie updates.

Sounds like a hoppy Easter to me!
