Hi there, Kekapahaukea! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I, too, was a frequent autumn traveler to the Disneyland Resort, but for the past couple of years, I’ve been going in the spring and have loved it! I find the weather to be just about perfect with cool mornings and evenings and daytime temperatures that are pleasantly warm, but not scorching. One of the most exciting things that happens during March is the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. While exact dates haven’t yet been announced, it is slated to return in 2019. This amazing culinary event features numerous festival marketplace kiosks that serve up some of the best Californian cuisine. Further, most of the food is perfectly paired with wine, beer, or a specialty cocktail.
In addition to all the mouthwatering fare, there are seminars on a variety of food and cooking topics (sometimes with celebrity chefs), live musical performances, and a Jr. Chef series for kids ages 3 through 11 who want to try their hands at cooking. This event is such a treat and will definitely be a highlight of your March visit.
While the festival certainly draws a lot of folks, it’s the start of the spring break season that will bring most of the crowds during this time of year. So, if you can plan your trip for earlier in the month, that might be a good idea.
Keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more details about offerings at the parks next spring and definitely return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
