Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited! I was lucky enough to attend a media preview of Oogie Boogie Bash a few days ago, and it was even more than I expected! From the immersive experiences, to the exclusive new World of Color show,
Villainous!, to the delicious food and spook-tacular merchandise, there’s truly something for everyone
this Halloween season.
So far, I haven’t heard of any special dining events exclusive to Oogie Boogie Bash. I recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements as the event gets closer. I took a look at
dining reservations for your arrival date of September 19, 2019, and I also couldn’t find any available dinner reservations inside Disney California Adventure Park. Unfortunately, it looks like those must have booked up quickly once the 60-day window opened up last month. I did, however, find available dinner reservations that evening inside Disneyland Park, the Downtown Disney District, and the Disneyland Resort hotels. One option is to book a reservation at Napa Rose or Storytellers Cafe, both located inside
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Both restaurants are a short distance from the resort’s exclusive entrance to Disney California Adventure Park, where the Bash is being held!
I also recommend continuing to check the
Disneyland app for dining reservation availability as your arrival date approaches, for any last-minute cancellations.
And since we’re on the topic of delicious food, let me tell you about some of the exciting
Halloween Time treats you’re going to want to save room for! From Graveyard Cupcakes to Hades-Inspired Hot Dogs to a Caramel Apple Smoothie, the Halloween Time food options are creative and unique! I had the chance to sample the Oogie Boogie-Inspired Funnel Cake Fries, dusted in crushed chocolate-cream cookies with cream cheese sauce, chocolate cream cookie pieces, gummy candies, and chocolate-coated candies – it was rich, but oh-so-yummy!
