Is there any special celebrations we could do for a 16 year old boy?

    Hi there, Christi!

It's great to meet you, thank you for your question! There's no better place to celebrate than the Disneyland Resort, I would love to share some of my favorite ways to make a trip extra special.

Depending on what your teen loves, there are a few different things you could do to celebrate him! Your first stop should be to pick up an "I'm Celebrating" button from Guest Services on Main Street, U.S.A. so everyone will be able to celebrate right along with you. After that, there are so many choices!

    • Nothing says "celebration" quite like cake! Some restaurants at the Disneyland Resort have the option to add a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to a dining reservation. You can also order in person at participating restaurant host podiums, or the Concierge Desk at a Disneyland Resort Hotel.
    • My favorite special event at the parks right now is the World of Color Dessert Party. Your ticket includes a plate of fruit, cheese, and desserts to enjoy while you sit (yes, sit!) to enjoy World of Color. It is the best view of the show ever!
    • How about a special dining reservation? I currently see just a couple of spots still available at Goofy's Kitchen, and I will say that I had a LOT of fun at character meals as a teen with my cousins. You're never too old for a hug from Goofy!
    • Is your teen an aspiring Jedi? Creating their own elegant Lightsaber at Savi's Workshop would be an incredible experience. Don't forget to take lots of photos around Batuu with your unique Lightsaber!
    • Choose a fun, personalized souvenir like a caricature portrait, or some special ears from The Mad Hatter!
    • I don't think any celebration at the parks is complete without a visit to Mickey's House for a hug and a photo no matter how old you are.
Whew! That's a lot of options, Christi, but if none of them sound quite right I'd love for you to send me a note about what the celebration boy loves so I can give you some more ideas. I hope he feels like an absolute superhero for your visit!

    Keep moving forward!
