Bibbid Bobbidi BOO, Adriana!
Halloweentime is by far my FRIGHTFULLY favorite time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Jack-o-lanterns line Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park, the
Dapper Dans are decked out in fall colors, and sometimes, even the temperature cooperates for a few cooler days in October. There's festive fun throughout the theme parks and Disney Springs, and I'm all about it.
This year, a special Halloween celebration was announced that would take place on select evenings in Magic Kingdom Park through October 31. Guests were WICKEDLY wild with excitement to hear news of the Disney After Hours BOO BASH! Tickets flew off the shelves like Winnie Sanderson chasing Thackery Binx, and all dates are currently sold out.
The PETRIFYINGLY popular
Disney After Hours BOO BASH events feature three hours of EERILY exclusive park time where Guests can enjoy low wait times for attractions, live entertainment featuring the CREEPY Cadaver Dans (hmm...they look suspiciously like an UNDEAD version of the Dapper Dans...), candy stops, Halloween-themed cavalcades, complimentary ice cream treats, popcorn, and BOO-RIFIC bottled beverages.
While there is no guarantee that "day-of" tickets will become available for any of the sold-out event dates, it's possible that some may MATERIALIZE on select evenings, to allow more GRIM GRINNING GHOSTS to attend the party. I encourage you to check with Cast Members at
GHOST Relations or the ticket sales desk at
Disney Springs to see if any BOO BASH tickets have been released for the dates you'll be in Walt Disney World. If any other special Halloween happenings are announced during the month of October, you'll hear it first on the
Disney Parks Blog.
While you're in Walt Disney World, make sure to check out all the specialty Halloween treats being served at dining locations throughout all four theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs. My favorites are the DEVIOUSLY delicious Candy Corn Milkshake at
Hollywood Scoops and the FEARFULLY fabulous Frozen Apple Cider at
PizzeRizzo, both located in
Disney's Hollywood Studios. While you're there, make sure to stop by
Muppet*Vision 3D to enjoy pre-show entertainment featuring clips from Muppet Haunted Mansion, premiering on Disney+ on October 8. You can also get a special "Muppets Haunted Mansion" Magic Shot photo taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers at Magic Kingdom Park's
Haunted Mansion attraction beginning October 8.
Happy Halloween to you and all the other HAPPY HAUNTS!
Your Ghost Host,
Diane W.
