What special activities are planned for DVC members for the 1st week of December? First vacation as DVC members and we want to take advantage of our "perks"! Also Disney Visa cardholders, do they still do the special photo op? Where/When? thank

    Howdy Stacie!!

Though the schedules have not yet been posted for December, I can tell you what I have experienced in the past.

I want to recommend that you visit the DVC Member website often.  Under Member Extras, you will find Member Perks, Special Events and more.  It is a great tool and will help you in your planning.

Below are a few events you might want to keep on your radar:

Welcome Home Wednesdays occur most Wednesdays at 2:00 PM.  It's a fun event with fellow DVC Members.

On select nights in December, you might receive a DVC Member discount on tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

The Merry Member Mixers have been held on Tuesdays from 3-5 PM during the holiday season.  In the past you could enjoy character meet and greets, refreshments, crafts, entertainment, the opportunity to purchase limited-edition DVC merchandise and attendees have received a Christmas ornament as a party favor.  Great event and I would highly encourage you to make it a must do during your vacation.

Regarding the Disney Visa Card from Chase Character Meet and Greet:  I'm happy to report that it is offered daily, 1 PM to 7 PM at Innoventions West at Epcot.  As you have done in the past, just present your Disney Visa® Card to enter the event.

Before you leave for vacation, be sure you review all perks associated with your DVC Membership as well as your Disney Visa Card so you don't miss out on any opportunities.  Also - be sure to take both cards with you.  I cannot tell you how many times I have lined up for the Disney Visa picture and then realized that I didn't have the credit card with me at the theme park.

I'm so excited for you!  Thanks again for your questions!  We LOVE helping you with your planning!!
