    Hi! Are there any special activities held in Magic Kingdom/Walt Disney World and Disney Springs for Mardi Gras and Valetine's Day? We are visiting that week in Feb of 2018. Planning to pack for Spring-like weather but I also like to dress for themes.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittney! I’m so glad you asked about festivities surrounding these holidays. There’s always something going on in the Parks, and the Disney Parks Blog is my first stop for checking the news.

    I recently compiled a few ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day for another guest, since I have not yet heard of any formal activities or events. You can always don a heart pin or a red dress; I’m sure you’ll fit right in! As for Mardi Gras, I think you should stop over to Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter for a plate of beignets; they are hot, fresh and oh-so-good! You will also find a door greeter there, dressed in fashionable Krewe style! Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any last minute updates or events that may pop up for Holidays. I find that in the week before a holiday, you may find more updates about celebrations or notable events.
