Hello Emily!
Let me be the first to welcome you to planDisney and offer congratulations on the happy news. Whether you are researching a gender reveal for your own little bundle of joy or assisting a friend or family member with their planning, a new Mouseketeer is ALWAYS something to celebrate!
I hate to burst your bubble (pink or blue, still to be determined) but there aren't any official channels to plan a gender reveal experience at Walt Disney World Resort. However, that doesn't mean you can't discover and share the happy news right in the middle of the magic.
My pal Melanie has some great suggestions for a do-it-yourself type of reveal you'll definitely want to look into. If you're hoping to recruit the big cheese himself for your reveal I also have a few other tips.
Mickey Mouse is currently greeting guests at Town Square Theatre in
Magic Kingdom Park and it's one of my favorite character interactions. With the purchase of
Disney Genie+ Service, you can save time in the standby queue and schedule a Lighting Lane arrival window to meet him. If you decide to meet him here next month be sure to bring along your autograph book for his signature. I think it would be magical and memorable to recruit Mickey's help to open a Mickey or Minnie plush or baby onesie and pose for a few snapshots with him to commemorate the big announcement. Alternatively, guests can
meet Mickey dressed in his Sorcerer's Apprentice best at Disney's Hollywood Studios. He is sure to add a little magical sparkle to your photos in his snazzy red robe and hat.
Be sure to purchase
Memory Maker to capture all these special moments and interactions around the parks. Once activated you can download the photos to share with family and friends back home. I know they'll be thrilled to hear the news and see your happy, smiling faces, especially with a character friend in the photo.
I hope this was helpful Emily. If we can be of further assistance or offer additional recommendations please come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
