Hi there, Megan!
Guests with an eligible disability may register for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) before visiting the Disneyland Resort, requesting a video interview using
DAS Advance. Before you can request an interview, make sure your
theme park tickets are linked to your account and you have made
theme park reservations. DAS Advance registration can take place between 2 and 30 days before your visit. Cast Members are available between 9 AM and 8 PM. When you and your son are available, use a device or computer with a camera to log into your Disneyland Resort account then click the “Request Live Chat” button from the
DAS Advance page.
Guests who register with DAS Advance may request up to two return times at select attractions per day in advance of their visit. After entering a theme park, you may request additional return times for one attraction at a time. Return times are requested using the
Disneyland mobile app downloaded to your mobile phone. Find an attraction on the map or the tip board. Then select the DAS icon to proceed with the request.
Tony’s Tip: I recommend enabling notifications for the Disneyland mobile app so that you get reminders of when it’s time to experience the selected attraction. Or you may set a timer or alarm on your phone to remind you. When you check in at an attraction a Cast Member will scan your return time reservation or tickets in the app. Or if it is an attraction with a
Lightning Lane queue, use your phone with the device scanners. Start with the reservation or ticket of the DAS-eligible Guest, then scan the reservations or tickets of the remaining Guests in your party. For even more convenience, you can use
MagicBand+.
I’m excited for you to experience the Disneyland Resort soon, Megan. You’re in for a whole lot of magic with the
Disney100 Celebration going on now and the
reopening of Mickey’s Toontown this weekend! If you have any more questions, we’d be happy to help here at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
~Tony
