Welcome back, Erica! We hEAR at planDisney love to see a returning guest even more than Chip loves Dale!
Erica, booking a spa treatment at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels is a wonderful way to change the pace of your vacation and relax before or after a long park day. Unfortunately at this time,
the on-property spas are on pause as the Walt Disney World Resort continues to focus on enhanced health and safety measures. However, since your trip is more than six months away, I'll be wishing on a star that we will see the return of these services. Please keep a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog for any information as Tinker Bell loves to sprinkle her pixie dusted announcements there first.
Now, should these reopen prior to your visit, I recommend checking out
Senses- A Disney Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort or Senses - A Disney Spa and Salon at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Both of these offer a wide variety of treatments with a relaxing atmosphere. At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you could schedule your spa visit to align with a dining reservation at the
Grand Floridian Cafe. This restaurant's light and airy atmosphere would be the perfect accompaniment to any spa treatment.
Over at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you can easily walk over to
Disney Springs (
from the Congress Park section) for an afternoon of shopping after a relaxing morning or vice versa.
Erica, I hope this information is helpful as you are looking ahead to your December vacation. If you get closer to your trip and the spa services have not yet returned, I hope you'll come on back to planDisney for more ideas about how to make the day with your daughter extra special.
