What day is the Easter parade 2013 and do you have to book in advance to go.

    Hi there, Dianna!

Grab your bonnet and head on over to Walt Disney World for some fun!

2012 and 2013 events have not been announced yet, but I can give you an idea of past events so you can plan accordingly.

There is usually a "meet and greet" with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom during the week prior to Easter at Tour Guide Gardens, adjacent to City Hall. These occur intermittently throughout the day; you'll find specifics in the week's Times Guide, available at the Park.

In 2011 Disney offered a special short 3:00 PM "pre-parade," featuring Mr. ad Mrs. Easter Bunny and a variety of characters dressed in springtime finery. This was a one-time-only  event held on Easter Sunday, 15 minutes prior to the Park’s regular  3:00 PM Celebrate a Dream Come True parade.

Many of the Walt Disney World Resorts offer egg hunts, games, and more for their Guests. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you will be able to find out all of the event times and locations upon check-in.

Your best bet for keeping up with the most current information and event releases is the Disney Parks Blog. Not only can you check it for multiple updates during the day, but you can have a complimentary recap emailed right to you every morning.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
