Hey there, Candida. I'm so glad you've stopped by to talk about one of my favorite things - Disney dining!
Candida, Space 220 at Epcot opened in early October. I've had the pleasure of dining there and I can tell you that it is an out-of-this-world experience. It truly is an experience that I hope you'll get to enjoy on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
Since
Space 220 is a relatively new restaurant at Walt Disney World, it can be hard to secure an advanced dining reservation. Everyone wants a spot. Dining reservations open up 60 days prior and can be made either online or over the phone. I know that it is past that time for you, but don't give up. I've had great luck securing a reservation for a particular restaurant as it gets closer to the date I've wanted to dine. When you don't show up for a dining reservation at Walt Disney World, there is a fee. So as it gets closer and people's plans change you should start to see reservations open up.
Another option is to try for a reservation in the
Lounge at Space 220. Previously, this was operating on a walk-up system but that has recently changed and they are also taking reservations for these seats. I've heard it's a lot easier to get a reservation for this area. When you sit in the lounge, you'll have the exact same experience as every other Guest getting up to the restaurant. Then, you'll have the option of ordering off of the flight bite menu (appetizers) or opting to do the whole prix fixe menu. I personally love the flight bite menu so I think this is the way to go. You can make a dining reservation for Guests of all ages in the lounge area.
I do hope you'll be able to enjoy Space 220, Candida. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. Enjoy!
