will space 220 be offering breakfast in the future?

Hello, Kevin! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to talk about one of my favorite things - Disney dining.

Kevin. just a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to dine at Space 220 and the experience was out of this world! Currently, Space 220 is open for lunch at dinner. I have not heard of any rumors that it might be offering breakfast but, of course, things could change between now and your vacation next summer. Be sure to keep an eye out over on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements about changes in offerings at Space 220. If you are unable to secure lunch or dinner reservations, Kevin, you can still enjoy the dining experience by sitting in the lounge area. The lounge at Space 220 is first-come, first-serve and is right in the middle of the dining room providing the same out-of-this-world views as any table with a reservation. The lounge offers a flight-bite menu which is appetizers or you can enjoy the prix-fixe lunch or dinner depending on what time it is. You'll also be able to enjoy soft drinks, beer, wine and cocktails in the lounge with your appetizers or meal. It's really just such a great experience in the lounge, I am recommending it to all of my friends.

If you are looking for a breakfast spot near Epcot, Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort offers a really nice all-you-care-to-enjoy meal. Right now, on the menu, you'll find salted caramel pull-apart rolls, yogurts and fruits to start with. Then, you can enjoy omelets and breakfast skillet with Mickey and Minnie waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato barrels and a beef hash. Breakfast starts getting served up at 7:30 a.m. each morning and then you are just a short walk over to Epcot to start your day.

I know this isn't quite what you were looking for but I really just am not sure what the future meals will look like at Space 220. However, I've enjoyed Cape May Cafe numerous times and I think it's a great option for you. If you have any other questions as you plan your vacation, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have fun and happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
