We are Southern California residents. We are planning on going to Disneyland 1/12-1/14 and my mom is coming with us. Could we purchase her a So Cal ticket for her?

    Hello there, David!

Ooh! I can see how that is a good idea. As an out-of-stater myself, I’d love to hit up my Southern Californian friends and family for help in saving on visits to the Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, if I would like to do that, I’m sure that just about everyone else who may know someone in sunny Southern California would like to do that too. The current special ticket offer for Southern Californians is a great deal. Though it probably wouldn’t be sustainable if everyone used it in that manner.

And let’s face it, you and your fellow Southern Californians work hard so you can play hard. Getting a nice break once in a while is a well-deserved offer from the folks at the Disneyland Resort. I’m glad you can take advantage of this special offer. Note that proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID, is required for purchase and admission. It is also great that you will get a chance to visit with your mother. She’ll just need to get a regular theme park ticket this time. Still, keep an eye on the offers and discounts made available from time to time. You never know when a great deal may come up that your mother may use as well.

Tony’s Tip: Saving money on Disneyland Resort vacations is important to my family. It means that we can afford to go more often! One way we can save money is by stocking up on Disney Gift Cards. These handy cards help establish a budget for our visits. We also save by purchasing them at a discount from local retailers and warehouse clubs. Disney Gift Cards are good for purchases of theme park tickets, dining, shopping, and even Disneyland Resort Hotel stays!

I’m glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help answer your Disneyland Resort question, David. Please stop by again with any more questions you may have.

    Have a magical time!
