Kalei from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket info states "Guests may purchase up to 5 tickets, per eligible person per day with valid ID". Can a person buy 5 3day tickets for May 8th-10th on May 1st and then buy 5 more for the 8th-10th on May 2nd?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Kalei. Thanks for sharing your question with us. The SoCal Resident ticket offer is a great way to make your magical visits to the Disneyland Resort at a great value. It sounds like you're getting a big group together for a visit (love this!) and I'm thrilled to help.

Great news, Kalei, according to the offer details, you are correct that you can purchase up to 5 of these special offer tickets per day. As you've described, you can purchase 5 tickets on one day and then 5 additional tickets on the following day. I also chatted with a Cast Member (to be doubly sure) who also confirmed that this should work. If for some reason this doesn't work, another member of your party can also make the purchase of the additional 5 tickets.

Keep in mind that this ticket offer is available for purchase by residents of Southern California within zip codes 90000-93599 and Baja California residents within zip codes 21000-22999. Proof of residency with a valid government-issued photo ID is required by each ticket holder for use. The ticket is only valid for weekday visits (and subject to theme park reservation availability) through May 25, 2023.

It sounds like you'll be purchasing all of the tickets through your Disney account, however, each ticket holder can link their ticket to their own Disneyland app. Once the app is open, tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Next, tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile and then the "+" in the top right corner and then "Link Tickets & Passes." I find the easiest way to link a ticket is by using the "Camera" feature and scanning the barcode. That's it - everyone has access to their own ticket now.

May is a wonderful time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. The Disney100 Celebration is in full swing and there are two new nighttime spectaculars to behold. I think my favorite of the two is Wondrous Journeys. For me, nothing beats the sight of Baymax flying over Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I hope this information was helpful to you, Kalei. Please come back to visit us with any other questions. Here's wishing you and your group and most magical time.
