Hi Selby,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to visit us with your question. I can't wait to visit Disneyland Park with my daughter once it has officially reopened and make lots of magical new memories together.
Since Disney has announced that Disneyland Resort will be reopening to California Residents on April 30, 2021, many guests have been patiently waiting for more information that will be released in the weeks prior to the reopening. At this time, Theme Park Ticket sales remain temporarily paused, but will resume at a later date. I am hopeful that once more information is released, there will be details available for when Theme Park Ticket sales will resume. In the meantime, I recommend checking the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the official
Disneyland Resort website for the most up to date information as it is released.
Once Disneyland Resort officially
reopens, guests will also be required to have both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for every day they would like to enter a Theme Park. We are still waiting for more details to be released concerning the new Theme Park Reservation System, but I imagine it will be similar to the
Disney Park Pass system currently in use at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Sending you lots of Pixie Dust in hope that more information is released soon, Selby. Once details have been released, please come back to
planDisney with all of your questions, we are happy to help!
