    I am from South Africa and am planning my very first trip to Disney with my boys aged 6 and 8. How and where to I begin planning? I am totally overwhelmed and since we spending all our saving to make this a memorable trip I NEED HELP trying to organize

    Hi Kalpa:

    There is so much to do at Walt Disney World that a number of guests ask themselves, "where do I begin?" The good news is that there are some great Disney vacation planning tools available right on Walt Disney World's website.

    My first piece of advice is to order the Disney Vacation Planning DVD, which will give you an overview of Disney World's four amazing theme parks, two incredible water parks and more than 20 magnificent Disney Resort hotels, as well as give you family vacation planning tips and details about special events in Disney Parks in Florida.

    I would also visit Walt Disney World's website to browse vacation packages and take advantage of Disney's My Disney Experience to help you create an itinerary of must-see attractions and entertainment. Also look at Disney FAQs for more planning insight..

    My family always stays on property for the themeing, convenience, and other benefits including extended theme park hours and complimentary transportation to and from Orlando International Airport.  Also browse through Disney's restaurants where you can find dining experiences your family may enjoy. 

    Although a lot of information to take in, the sooner you start planning the better. It's likely that after a few minutes browsing these websites, you'll find that planning a Disney vacation is a lot more fun than intimidating.   Once you absorb the basic information, return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask more specific questions.

    Enjoy your planning (once you take the initial dive, planning can become fun).
