Ahoy Laura!
I am so excited to hear you are planning an adventure on the high seas! I’ll bet you cannot wait to get onboard and start your vacation! Some of my best experiences while cruising with Captain Mickey have been trips without the kids...but I will not admit that to them and will deny I ever said that if asked!
Your question made me chuckle because it's not odd at all to want to check out the
Youth Clubs on Disney Cruise Line! The theming in the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab takes the beloved Star Wars and Toy Story characters and settings and truly brings them to life. I couldn't wait to pilot the Millennium Falcon on the Disney Dream and waited very patiently for the other adults who had the same desire to go before me.
The appropriate times for adults to interact with the Youth Club spaces is during scheduled Open House times. Otherwise, the clubs are reserved for kids ages 3-12 during scheduled programming. That means “adults, keep out!” during those times! Open House hours are listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, your Jedi master of all things relating to activities, entertainment, and schedules for your cruise. Be sure to download it before you set sail since it also has a cool countdown calendar.
Laura, feel free to use the Force and send any additional questions to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Hope your vacation is an absolute DREAM!
Happy Sailing!
