Hi Andrea!
It's always a pleasure to hear from a fellow Ontarian!
Congratulations on your family's First Trip to Walt Disney World!
It sounds like you're beginning to set up a great plan for your vacation!
Choosing
to relax on your arrival day is a great plan if you're arriving past
midday. Even Downtown Disney is a great option to consider that day,
since no park entry ticket is required. There's so much to see and do!
With
the ages of your little ones, you're definitely wise to plan on at
least two full days at Magic Kingdom. Saving one of your last days as a
'pick your favourite park' day is always one of my favourite ways to end
the vacation. It's great to return to some attractions that they whole
family enjoyed the most, to experience them one more time!
I'm personally of the school of thought that no one is too young for
Epcot.
My whole family loves Epcot, and always have. For the littler ones,
there's The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion, the Imagination
Pavilion and the Innoventions buildings. They're chock full of fun and
interesting, interactive activities for all ages. Don't forget Spaceship
Earth as well and exit the attraction out into even more interactive
activities. There are also many Disney Character Meet & Greets all around the World Showcase Lagoon at the various country pavilions, fantastic outdoor performances and
Kidcot Fun Stop stations.
If you'd like further recommendations or have additional questions, please feel free to write me back and I'll be happy to assist you further!
Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Andrea!
