Ahoy, Cailyn!
I'm thrilled to welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There is no need to apologize for asking us multiple questions! We love assisting Guests with planning their upcoming voyages on Disney Cruise Line and have had so much fun answering your awesome questions!
Captain Mickey encourages Guests of all ages to dress up and join in the fun during themed nights such as
Pirate Night or Halloween on the High Seas! Younger cruisers are welcome to dress up at any point during the voyage; however, Disney Cruise Line asks that adults wear their costumes around the ship during the special themed nights onboard, only. Also, there are additional guidelines for both adults and children such as no masks covering the face, the costumes need to be appropriate and no toy weapons are allowed. Please take a peek at the
list of prohibited items for more information. My fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Nancy, went into greater detail
answering a Guest's question regarding the rules on wearing a mask onboard.
I love seeing all the swashbuckling pirates walking around the ship on Pirate Night! It's a great opportunity to get a family photo taken by the
onboard photographers, too! If you have any questions regarding a particular costume you had in mind for you or someone traveling with you, I suggest calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. They will be able to answer any specific concerns regarding costumes.
Cailyn, we're looking forward to answering more wonderful questions from you!
