Sorry I have so many questions & thank you for answering them. I'm torn between Photopass & just having the photographers use my camera. What are the advantages of Photopass over this?

    Hi Lora!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

PhotoPass allows every member of your party to be in all of the photographs since somebody else will be taking the pictures.  The PhotoPass photographer can also create "magic" photos using the PhotoPass system.  For example, one of my favorite family pictures is of my children when they were younger; they are standing on Main Street USA in front of Cinderella Castle and Tinker Bell is standing in their hands.  There are a whole series of "magic" photos that the PhotoPass photographers can create, so be sure to ask!

However, with regards to getting everybody in the photographs, you could just hand your personal camera to the PhotoPass photographer.  He or she will be happy to take a picture using your camera in addition to their camera.

There's no obligation to buy any PhotoPass photographs.  We usually get some taken on every trip and then decide later if we want to purchase any.  Of course, if you think you want to purchase a lot then it makes sense to pre-order the PhotoPass CD as it will be less expensive in the long run.

Finally, you should consider PhotoPass +, the new service, especially if you have a lot of Character Dining Reservations already.  That can save a lot of money and provide you with digital photographs from the Disney Character Dining Experiences.

It's not an easy decision.  Good luck and please write back with more questions!
