Sorry, not sure if question came through. Party of 14 booked but only 10 able to confirm Magic Kingdom on 12/31/21. What can we do to get entire family together that day? Will we be allowed to use our 4-day hopper to enter MK or will capacity restrict us?

    Hi Dana!

The more the merrier the more magical! Your large family will have huge fun at Walt Disney World! And what a fantastic place to start a new year.

Normally, a Park Hopper would typically get you through the tapstiles of the theme park of your choice after 2:00, but New Year's Eve is an exception. In years past, even with no attendance limits in place, the Magic Kingdom frequently reached capacity on December 31st. Your family members who do not have Disney Park Pass Reservations for the Magic Kingdom are subject to capacity restrictions in the afternoon and risk not being able to join you.

You might want to reconsider booking spots for the whole gang in a different park. Epcot still has openings for Dec 31 and is a fabulous place to ring in 2022. In prepandemic years, DJs hosted high energy dance parties throughout World Showcase, spectacular holiday fireworks blasted off, and a grand countdown commenced. And no park has better food and drink choices than Epcot. This park also has ample space to handle a holiday celebration.

Enjoy starting the new year with Mickey and your whole gang!
