I am sorry; I did not make my question clear. I meant to ask what are the "must sees" and "must dos" at WL. When we check in we will be spending the afternoon at the resort. Wanted to know about what to look at and do specifically aroun

    Hi Nicholas!

Thank you for sending in the clarification!

The Wilderness Lodge is a fabulous resort to explore.  Be sure to explore both the hotel side and the Disney Vacation Club (Disney Deluxe Villa) side.  There's a guided tour of the Wilderness Lodge that I highly recommend.  You will learn a lot about the theming and the symbolism used throughout the resort.  Just inquire about the tour at the front desk.  If you are a "hidden Mickey" guy, be sure to ask for a guide to help you find hidden Mickeys throughout the resort.

Other great things to do include:
    • Watching the Fire Rock Geyser.  It erupts about once an hour, but if you spend time out at the pool you will definitely catch it.  The geyser can reach a height of about 120 feet.
    • Relax in the hot tub or in the pool.  Be sure to visit the pool between the main lodge and the Disney Vacation Club units for a smaller but quieter pool.  Many guests find the smaller pool more relaxing!
    • Take a boat out on Bay Lake and explore Bay Lake and/or Seven Seas Lagoon.  I love going out on a small Sea Raycer, but since it is your honeymoon you might consider renting a pontoon boat instead.
    • Go hiking between the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.

If you want a really unique experience, inquire about being the "Flag Family" when you check-in.  It can be a once in a lifetime opportunity!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
