Hi Kjeld,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!
I’ll fully admit that your question had me scratching my head a bit, but I did some digging for you, and here’s what I was able to find. First, you’re right that it doesn’t seem possible for you to purchase a single day Theme Park Ticket on the
European version of Walt Disney World Resort's website. I’m not sure whether you can access the United States – English version but, if you can, please click on this link to the
Theme Park Tickets purchasing page. You might be able to make your purchase that way or by downloading the
My Disney Experience App to your smartphone and accessing the in-app ticket purchasing options.
If you can’t purchase tickets that way, your only option might be to speak to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (travel agent) or to purchase your tickets when you arrive in the United States. That said, I strongly encourage you to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Tool to make sure that the date you’d like to visit is still available. Please note that, the closer you get to your vacation dates, the more availability can become limited for all Theme Parks.
If you think that you might be visiting on a particularly busy day (especially if that day falls on a holiday in the United States or in March/April during Spring Break), then your best bet might be to purchase a 2-Day Theme Park Ticket before leaving home so that you can “lock in” your preferred dates.
If none of these options works for you, please contact
Walt Disney World Resort by phone or come back and visit us with more details, including what steps you have/haven’t tried to resolve this issue. We’re always more than happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
