Sorry forgot this one: what are the rules for GF private cabanas during covid?

Welcome back, Linda and thanks for bringing another great question to planDisney!

Linda, as we are all navigating the enhanced health and safety measures you'll find all around the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm happy to update you on cabana rentals! Currently cabana rentals are only available for guests of the resort where the cabanas are available. For example, if you are staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa you are welcome to call and reserve a cabana, however if you would be staying at a neighboring resort like Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you would not be permitted to rent a cabana and hop over for some pool time.

The other temporary restriction is the ability to rent a cabana for a half-day. Currently cabanas are only being rented for full days to ensure proper cleaning in between guests. While many guests (including me) would prefer a half day rental, I really appreciate Disney's commitment to health and safety.

Linda, I hope this helps as you're dreaming about your September vacation. A stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the perfect way to usher in the fall season and I wish you a pixie dusted stay! Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have.
