Sorry another ?. If we decide to have my sister in law and her 2 kids (DS 16 and DD 12) join our family of 5 (DH, me DS 16, DS 8, and mom) and decide on 3 rooms near to each other, should one person make res. for all of us or should we do it separately?

Lindsey, for our family reunion, we allowed everyone to make their own reservations at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and we were all over the resort.  Those that arrived by plane and checked in together, were closest to each other.  Yet, those of us driving and arriving later in the day were given what was available and check-in took a bit longer. I would recommend that one person make the reservations for the three rooms and request that 2 rooms are connecting.  You will be more likely to have the 3 rooms near each other or at least in the same building or area of the building, depending on which resort that you choose.  In addition, there is only one reservation to check-in and that will make check-in a breeze.
