Ahoy, Tashia!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to help you and your family plan your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! In a previous question, I believe you mentioned this being your family's first voyage with Captain Mickey! There are so many activities to "sea" and do on a Disney Cruise!
My little buccaneer loves meeting his favorite Disney Characters during our high-seas adventures! One of our favorite events is the
Character Breakfast. Guests can enjoy Character Breakfasts on cruises lasting seven nights or longer. In order to eat Mickey-shaped waffles with your favorite Disney Characters, you'll need to reserve complimentary tickets to this event when your
advance booking window opens. For first-time cruisers who are not sailing in Concierge-level staterooms, that will be 75 days prior to the first day of your cruise.
I'm happy to share that we were able to get tickets to the Character Breakfast during our first few Disney Cruises! If for some reason the Character Breakfast for your particular voyage is completely booked when your advance booking window opens, don't lose hope! Guests' plans often change, so I recommend checking again online, prior to setting sail, to see if more tickets become available. If you're getting ready to set sail and still don't have tickets to the Character Breakfast, once onboard, stop by the Guest Services Desk on embarkation day to see if there are any more tickets available or if there's a wait list you can add your family's name to.
Tashia, thanks so much for sailing by! I'm sending you and your family tons of pixie dust! I'm hoping this will be the first of many Disney Cruises for you and your pirate crew!
