Hey Howdy Hey Gillian and welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this year. Thank you for stopping by with your question on timing your dining reservations with the nighttime fireworks show
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom. Let's get to it and give you an idea of when to make your reservation.
Unfortunately, at this time, Disney has not released the
park hours or event schedule during your holiday in June. Until we get the official word from Disney on specifics, I can only give you approximate timelines. Typically, Disney tries to time the fireworks show in the evening when the show is best seen. In Florida during the summer, this show may be anywhere from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST. People usually start getting their spots along Main Street, U.S.A. and the hub in front of Cinderella's Castle 2 hours before the show. If you plan to be finished with dinner around 7 PM, you should have enough time to stake out your place for the perfect location.
In my opinion, Happily Ever After is the best nighttime fireworks show. Seeing it at least once from the front of Cinderella's Castle should be experienced for the full show effects. One way to take the guesswork out of your best experience is by booking a dessert party through the
Enchanting Extras Collection. You have your option of
Pre-Party,
Post-Party or
full access to drinks and desserts throughout the show as well as a reserved location in the Rose Gardens for the show. This ensures a prime location for the show as well as a delicious way to experience the evening without the stress of claiming your spot hours before the show starts.
Make sure to keep an eye on the park hours before and during your trip as the show times are subject to change. I hope you and your party have a Magical time on your upcoming holiday and please feel free to stop back with any further questions you may have, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
