Hello there, Richard!
I just got my first
Annual Pass this year, and I can’t wait to activate it the first time so that I can walk through that special Annual Passholder theme park entrance. Like Disney’s Hercules, you’ll go the distance when you use your Annual Pass for
limited-time discounts and Passholder extras.
Richard, before you activate your Annual Pass, the expiration date will be one year from the date you purchased the Pass. The first time you activate the Annual Pass and use it to enter a Walt Disney World theme park, you’ll see that the expiration date will change to one year from that date of activation. Keep in mind that your Annual Pass will expire if it is not activated within one year from the date of purchase.
Here’s a pro tip: When you are using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, check out The Passholder Buzz on the home page of the app. This page will tell you all of the latest news about Passholder and Walt Disney World Guest experience enhancements. It also features all of the perks that you can take advantage of.
Let us know if you need any other Annual Passholder tips in the future.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
