When is the soonest we can make dinner and breakfast reservations? Can I make reservations for all 7 of us?

Hey there, Sandra. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It is exciting to see that you are starting to plan your Walt Disney World vacation. Planning is half of the fun!

Sandra, you can make your advanced dining reservations starting 60 days prior to your vacation start date. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make them for the length of your stay up to 10 days. You'll be able to make dining reservations for everyone in your planning party if you would like. You'll just put all 7 of you in when it asks for how many Guests.

Currently, there are two ways to make advanced dining reservations. You can make them online via your MyDisneyExperience account either on a computer or the app starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. This is my preferred method because it's very user-friendly and it starts earlier than the alternative. The other option is to call 407-WDW-DINE to make your dining reservations. Phone lines open up around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. The Cast Member over the phone can help you with all of your dining reservation needs for the length of your stay. If you can set an alarm and try to be awake right before that 6:00 a.m. time, it really is best because some of the most popular places do fill up pretty quickly.

If you are looking for a dining suggestion, my favorite spot right now is The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. The restaurant is set right on the lake at Disney Springs and provides stunning views all day but especially for the sunset. There is something on the menu to please even the pickiest of eaters and I know because I had one for years! My current go-to order is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries! It's so delicious. If there is any room left over for something sweet, I highly recommend the key lime pie in a jar. It's light and tart and so, so good!

I hope this helps. Sandra. If you have any other questions as you plan your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
