I have (soon to be) 8 yr. old twins who enjoy water parks but I am torn between Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. My daughter is about 50 in. tall and my son is about 55 in. Which park would you recommend?

Hi Anaida!  Both of the Disney water parks are a real treat on a hot humid day in Florida.  Everyone has their personal favorite and mine is Blizzard Beach. I love this park as it is full of rides for all ages and daring personalities and it has the great Cross Country Creek that circles the entire park. This lazy river ride will relax all family members throughout the day.

Your twins will surely enjoy the Ski Patrol Training Camp that is full of slides, chutes, and activities for that age group.  When they become braver they can head to Teamboat Springs, the wave pool, and all the other great thrilling chutes and drops.

I especially love the idea that you can take a break from the water and head out to the entrance and take on the mini golf located just steps from the gates.  This park makes it easy to arrive early and stay late!
