    Hi! We'll soon be traveling in the Disney Dream and we'll be celebrating my nephew's 8th birthday. What would be good recommendations to make this date unforgettable for him?

    Ahoy Ana!
    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Your nephew is going to have the best birthday yet on your Disney Dream sailing next week!  I've celebrated my birthday at sea and it was definitely extra-magical!  Upon boarding be sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up a birthday button for him to wear!  The crew, characters, and other Guests will want to join in wishing him a "Happy Birthday" throughout your sailing!  Also, be sure his birthday is noted on your cruise reservation so your dining team can present him with a special birthday dessert and song! Another idea is to purchase a t-shirt, pillow case, or photo mat that you can have signed for your nephew which will be the perfect keepsake from his birthday sailing.  Each stateroom is allowed to turn in two items to Guest Services to have signed by the characters so place your items in a plastic bag labeled with your last name and stateroom and be sure to include Sharpies or fabric markers. Your items will be delivered to your stateroom by the end of the sailing.  I also suggest giving him a Disney Gift Card that can be applied to his stateroom account so he can pick out a special souvenir at one of the gift shops.  Disney Gift Cards can be redeemed at Guest Services at any time during your cruise!
